Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Cafe Paris Restaurante, a charming eatery nestled along Av. Vicente Blasco Ibanez in the coastal town of Santa Pola, Alicante, Spain. This delightful establishment seamlessly blends the best of both worlds, offering a café vibe and a relaxed dining atmosphere that beckons locals and travelers alike. With beautiful beachside tables and sun loungers facing the stunning sea, it's a perfect spot to unwind and indulge.

During my visits, I noticed the delightful chaos that occurs when a restaurant also serves as a café. The staff hustles hard, and while the service may occasionally bear the pressure of a full house, they maintain a friendly demeanor. As for the menu, it’s a delightful mix of basic yet tasty meals, inspired by Mediterranean flavors. Guest reviews highlight the tasty offerings like crispy potato wedges paired with olives and a flavorful sirloin steak, served with a rich peppercorn sauce. For those seeking lighter fare, the seasonal salads and refreshing sorbets provide a perfect balance, especially on warm summer days.

While some guests have pointed out discrepancies like the ice cream portion in the 'Fresas Con Nata,' the vibrant presentation of dishes such as 'Copa Macedonia' showcases the care and creativity that goes into the culinary offerings. It's also commendable that guests receive complimentary seating with their meal— a lovely touch that enhances the overall experience.

Moreover, the café’s ambiance transports you to a laid-back locale, often described as reminiscent of Mexico, with a friendly and welcoming spirit. One can enjoy a perfectly crafted green margarita, expertly recommended by the helpful staff. The bright atmosphere encourages relaxation, whether you're nibbling on basic yet satisfying snacks or enjoying a leisurely lunch.

Cafe Paris Restaurante is not just a meal; it’s an experience to cherish. With the waves lapping against the shore and the invigorating air, it's an ideal destination for any food lover visiting Santa Pola. If you're in the Alicante region, make sure to stop by for a delightful culinary escape.

March 2022 As it's both a restaurant and café, it gets quite busy for the staff; as the one I had was pulled between them. Generally, the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere, with the cafe's sunloungers facing the sea. We only popped in for coffee & icecream, but were disappointed by the lack of it. The 'Fresas Con Nata' was supposed to be strawberries & cream with icecream. You couldn't even see the icecream, it turned out to be half a boule, under a mountain of squirty cream. The 'Copa Macedonia' was a more fruity affair, with the cream sandwiched between mango and peach sorbets. This time there was fresh kiwi fruit, on top of a raspberry sorbet, with strawberries and cream bottom. Both looked great, even with biscuits sticking out the top. Sorbets are great for the height of summer, but shouldn't be confused with icecream. August 2023 The prices have gone up, but they're no more expensive than similar bars. Large tonic water & ice, original Coca Cola with ice (330ml), both came with lemon /lime. For lunch the potato wedges were very crispy, and came with free mixed olives. The main course of sirloin steak, came with a peppercorn sauce; with a side order of rustic grill chips. Be warned, the steak comes in very rare. The waiter very kindly cooked it a bit more for me.

Great service food basic but tasty. Lovely chill out place you would think you in Mexico

My favourite beach side cafe. Always very popular with beach side tables and chairs and loungers at your disposal

I like the atmosphere here. Ate a club sandwich here that wasn’t so good, but the seasonal salad was good. If you pay for the food, you dont need to pay for the seats.

Paula was great, she made me understand the menu very easily, even though I’m from London and she gave such a great recommendation… (green margarita) will always remember that one… gracias Paula

Good lunch option. The grilled check was actually moist. That was a nice surprise. The service was adequate. Outside seating is a bonus, with a good breeze and view of the beach and sea.

It's always great here!!! You can relax and visit your friends in a friendly and comfortable place. Once I fell asleep in the bed. The waiter just ignored me... No shaming it was awesome I love the goblets they serve drinks in!!! My absolute fav
